Our Programmes
We run programmes across the country to encourage as many young people as possible to be active citizens, participate in South Africa’s democracy and have a say in how our country is run.
We partnered with three role models, who are using their voice as a platform for good, on a democracy video series. To deliver our messages and raise awareness through social media and via schools.
She is an author, having published two books We are the ones we need, The War on Black Professionals in Corporate South Africa and Nah, Keep Your Strength. She is a rape survivor and gender activist and runs a consultancy specialising in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Organisational Culture and Integrated Communications.
She is also an accredited Life & Career Coach, highly sought-after keynote speaker, panelist and facilitator and host of the podcast: The Workplace Revolution.
She is an Anti-Racism Activist, who protested against her schools policy preventing her from attending school with an afro. Together with her colleagues, the schools policy was changed.
She wrote the childrens book My Coily Crowny Hair, to encourage young girls to celebrate natural black hair. She is also studying Law, an ambassador for development organisations and an international speaker.
He is a corporate attorney and creator of #RunningWithTumiSole – a global running movement a global running and fitness movement with presence in 52 countries. And #CountryDuty – a social movement to encourage active citizenship amongst South Africans.
He is also the founder of #CountryDuty, a social movement founded as a response to empower South Africans to be more action oriented in relation to matters that affect the country and communities we live in.
Schools Programmes
Our team visits high schools, and provides an interactive session with +16 year olds on what it means to be an active citizen, how to participate in South Africa’s democracy, how to register to vote, how to choose leaders wisely and what it means to hold them accountable.
Our activations team encourage discussion, debate and critical thinking on how young people can have a say in how our country is run.
